What Is a Gastrostomy Button?
A gastrostomy button provides direct access into the stomach for nutritional support, bypassing the mouth and throat.
It is generally used for patients who require long-term feeding (typically more than 30 days). A gastrostomy tract is usually created with an initial PEG tube, and once healed, the button may be placed.

The Medicina ENFit® extension sets complement the button design. Manufactured from biocompatible, kink-resistant polyurethane, these sets include an innovative rotating connector to simplify secure attachment and disconnection without twisting the tubing.
