Meet Annalee, a key member of our Supply Chain Team in Australia. From tracking shipments to managing customer backorders, specialists like Annalee are an integral part of smooth business operations.

Her journey from joining InterMed through the CoreMed acquisition to mastering the complexities of supply chain management has been fuelled by resilience, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to embrace new challenges. Along the way, she’s picked up valuable career insights, practical advice, and even set some unique bucket list experiences!

Can you tell us a bit about yourself and your role within InterMed?

I’m part of the Supply Chain Team working to supply stock for our ENT division.

How long have you worked at InterMed?

I have been with InterMed for just over 18 months coming across with the CoreMed acquisition in October 2023.

What does a typical day as a Supply Chain Specialist look like?

A day in the life of an SCS involves reviewing your suppliers to check stock on hand, fulfil customer backorders, updating ETAs, product maintenance, placing POs, booking in shipments etc.

What advice can you offer to other Supply Chain Specialists who are just starting?

Listen to all advice provided from your team members and especially your Supply Chain Manager.  They are a wealth of information and only too happy to help 😊

What’s the best bit of advice you’ve ever been given?

Work Fast, Think Slow 

What are your favourite things about working at InterMed?

I am thankful to be part of an extremely supportive team that works collectively on sharing their knowledge and skills.

What have been some of the most important lessons you’ve learned throughout your career?

Always be willing to learn new skills and adapt to change.  It may seem difficult at the time however it will be a rewarding process.

How do you like to spend your time when you aren’t working?

I enjoy running most days and spending time with my family. I also enjoy watching the NRL and get to a few games throughout the season.

I would like to learn how to play the drums.

How do you define success? 

Feeling a sense of achievement/contentment in the outcomes you have created whether it be professionally or personally. 

What’s one thing on your bucket list?

Be a passenger in a V8 supercar.
